I wanted to add more storage to my HD Sportster for commuting but not for weekend commuting. I already had a quick release passenger backrest with a trunk. I attached the bag to the trunk. Two quick release skewers were included in the scope of delivery. I used them along with some zip ties to make it more secure. Now when I need storage I put a back/tail bag on the bike. The bag is big enough to hold a full helmet and a light jacket. I could also fit a 1/2 helmet and armored motorcycle jacket. There are also many small pockets for small items. Exactly what I needed.
