My Bose Sound Dock is working again! This little device has kept my Gen 1 Sound Dock as relevant and fun as it was over a decade ago. The BS-1 is a simple Bluetooth receiver that connects to any Bluetooth enabled device and easily streams music/audio to your Bose device. I think this is the ONLY company that makes a device for the original Gen 1 Sounddock that uses a different pin configuration for older Apple iPods. We can now use our current iPhones or iPads to play music through Bose, making it really useful again. The BS-1 is easy to pair and emits a distinct beep when connected, along with a flashing LED. I wish it was a little cheaper, especially compared to similar devices, but other brands don't work with the Gen 1 Sound Dock. I thought it was worth it as I don't have to buy a new speaker system.
