I have a spiralizer but it's awkward to use as your veggies need to be just the right size and when browsing food blogs I've found that most people use a veggie cutter for the straws of the prefer chefs. Less than ten dollars is difficult to overtake. Foodies and chefs were right - it's fast, durable and a lot easier to clean - I usually rinse it under hot water or pop it in the dishwasher. Whether I'm making zucchini noodles, veggie lasagna, or sautéed carrot sprouts, this is always the first thing I make. Love having this in my kitchen drawer, it motivates me to eat healthy and be creative with food, and cooks meals a lot faster. Plus, peeling veggies isn't difficult at all! Just note that the side of the shell is ribbed so you have ribs on freshly peeled food, which doesn't bother me, love the added texture.
