Review on 600Lb Capacity Lashing Straps - Cartman 1 X 12' 2Pk Orange Tie-Down Cargo Straps by Niko Knight

I’ve tried to use these a few times to hold helium tanks in a van. The first time the strap broke from friction against van so I padded it. On shorter trips I have to keep tightening them. This last trip I strapped the tank in the dolly against the truck with padding to protect strap. The webbing material is too thin and slick. The metal piece isn’t strong enough to hold. I’ll need to find something better.No - I won’t trust these with my 18 lb pack boats either. They won’t stay tight enough.They are fine for smaller items and make great climbing ropes for macaws.
