After trying for about a month and a half I went back to my Colgate Total. This was my first exposure to organic toothpaste and as a fan of Dr. Bronner, I really wanted to work with her. I know that transitioning to an organic or more natural lifestyle usually involves a transition period. But after a month of trying, it just didn't work for me. The freshness did not last very long after brushing. For example, as soon as you drank water, it disappeared. It gave me no confidence, to say the least. I've even brushed my teeth three times a day to counteract this, but it still hasn't worked, let alone what it can do to tooth enamel in the long run. The texture was bad too. It seemed to dissipate so quickly that halfway through brushing it was like I was just brushing with saliva. They definitely deadened the taste, I'll give it to them. But unfortunately toothpastes are not for Dr. B. In fact, this is perhaps the worst. Very disappointed and very sad that I have to give 1/5 here. I hope they are working on improving the formula. Would like to do it together with my Dr. Add Bronner's liquid soap, hair cream and lotion.
