They work pretty well, but if I hadn't seen TheFrugalCrafter's YouTube videos using them (check out their channel!), I'd have trouble understanding them. You are limited by the size of card you can make with it as the puppy stamp has to go through a cutting machine (I have a Big Shot). I think I could always overlay elements to make the map appear larger. I managed to make a cute card for my sister's birthday. The set also includes some lovely attachment frames - oval and rectangular - and an added plus is that you can use the expansion matrix on almost any image that you want to overlay with a three-dimensional effect.
