I have long hair. For example up to the hips. It's thick, heavy and very straight. This is the first curling iron I've had that curled my hair, not just the last 4 inches. I love it. It's worth the price for me as I have a hard time with other irons. The power button gets in my way a bit and I often accidentally press it when using the iron as that's where I keep my grip, but it's just something I can get used to/adapt to over time. I like that you can switch barrels. The large cylinder was too delicate for my long hair, but the tightest was perfect on the 4 heat setting.
