This brooch/pendant is very photographable but doesn't convey that quality in real life (in real life). a needle. A piece of metal rod (don't know what it's called lol) is crooked. It's tilted to one side, which is probably because the weight of the clockwork is so heavy and the wand is so thin/fragile. This wasn't done properly as the stick needed to be thicker at the top and thinner at the bottom. Because the metal shank is so thin, it cannot properly support the heavier weight of the crown, which will cause the metal shank to break in the near future. If you hold the pin straight up, you may feel like the crown is tilted and doesn't have enough support to secure it. The rhinestones on the crown look pretty intact, however the gold looks a bit dirty. I feel that the gold details fade and tarnish quickly. The product description says it shouldn't be exposed to chemicals or sprays, which doesn't bode well for longevity. Unfortunately I have ordered several of these from this brand and am not happy to receive them when they look like this. . I would only give him 2 stars because the crown part is a real escapement, but this dog's design isn't easy. Personally I would look for a better quality brooch, hope this helps :)
