This blender isn't impressive at all. I was thrilled to get it because it's big enough to handle the amount of dough I make for my batches of bread. What a disappointment! The dough hook does not mix properly. I have to constantly scrape the sides of the bowl to keep it fully mixed. I've never been able to just add the ingredients and let them mix together. If I did I would never have dough. I tried kneading the dough with a paddle attachment and the same thing! I'm not a bit happy I wasted $200. I think I've learned my lesson and should stick with good brands. Kitchen gadgets and Bosch.
