I was excited to try this as part of my Korean skincare routine. I had considered using a Western product, but thought that having a Korean one might make a difference with the other products. I've been doing a two step cleansing routine (though it wasn't yet perfected until recently) for nearly three years now, before finding out about Korean skincare. Prior to this, I had been using the Garnier Clean+ Nourishing Cleansing Oil For Dry Skin, 4.2 Fluid Ounces as my oil step with a Cerave cleanser as my followup.I was shocked when I got this oil. It's incredibly thin, slightly thicker than water really. It's similar to aloe water. Because of it's thin consistency, it is harder to get across your skin as it trails through your fingers. Because it's thinner though, it spreads across your skin easier and with less product than a different oil. You can work it up into a gentle milk which does a good job at removing makeup unless you are wearing very full coverage makeup, in which case you should consider taking off a good chunk of it with a removing wipe first or else oil cleanse twice.I have very dry skin, and this leaves my face with only the tiniest feeling of oil. I place it on slightly damp skin, rubbing it in gently before mostly rinsing it off. Because of my dry skin, I follow it with a cream cleanser used with my clarisonic instead of a foaming cleanser. It's been working wonderfully for me and my skin looks fantastic as a result. My face does feel dry after cleansing, but not dehydrated. My moisturizing and hydrating products work far better when I dual cleanse than when I don't. (some days I will skip it if I didn't wear makeup or sunscreen that day because oil cleansing isn't needed then. I do notice a difference in the cleanliness though)Overall I am very happy with this oil and will be repurchasing it.
