Compared to the $400+ Enso SG2 knife, they're pretty close in quality. This Paudin knife has excellent balance, the handle is well designed, doesn't chafe your hand and isn't too heavy. Note that I had to sharpen the blade when I first got it because they didn't sharpen it well. However, it cuts very well and does not need to be resharpened. I mostly use steel to keep the blade straight. Just so you know, the damascus pattern is engraved, but I believe the blade is damascus style nonetheless. No rust yet. I would say it's about 80% as good as my Enso SG2 knife for a lot less money.
