Review on Post Dispenser Designed Classic DS330 BK by Art Clark

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Unreliable. Useless. Criminally carefree design.

This version of the banknote dispenser does not work and is completely useless. The design has changed for the worse since my last purchase about 12 years ago. My old one still works, but I wanted another one for my home office. In the new version (the real subject of this review), the accordion-style square notes are sandwiched between a transparent cover and a spring-loaded plunger. The 12 year old version featured a larger square plastic plunger over a spring with smooth raised edges on either side to prevent bills from sliding from side to side. The top is detachable and non-locking, so the top often breaks off the base during pipetting, causing accordion notes (and more than a few chosen words) to explode from time to time. To use this dispenser with any degree of security, you'll need to hold the top with one hand while using the other to pull out an accordion-style note or tape the side (this might work for you). Without modification, due to this serious design flaw, extra caution is required when pulling. There is another fixed top version that is more functional but suffers from the problem of bills sliding (side to side). Do not buy this version.
