WiFi could get better

Update August 25, 2016 OSX seems to be getting worse with every update. It eventually became less reliable, so I bought another; then the old man went back to work. It later crashed and seemed less reliable with each OSX update. Today, after not using it for several months and now running OS 10.11.5, it was very choppy, sometimes with no light, sometimes with no text, sometimes with text in the scanner window but not in my document, I restarted. The worst. Won't work at all. I have a Macbook Pro 17" 2006 with OS 10.4 which I saved to use select software not available in newer versions of OSX. This is my scanning computer now. The iris pen is pretty much working as mentioned above impeccable. Despite the flaws and features. Given the flexibility of many other comparable cables, the hard cable on this scanner is unforgivable. I only like it because I haven't found a better option. As far as I can tell, if you're using a Mac, this and an older version of OSX might be your best bet if you find a better one please comment As of Feb 2010 In most cases this works depending on the font it could be a lot better was the best I've found was able to find a pen scanner that worked with Mac OS, but if you are using Microsoft OS I suggest you try a different pen scanner, preferably wireless. After a p Aar weeks of use I decided it would be wise to provide some relief for the USB connection; During use, the hard cable puts undue strain on my computer's outlet. After tracking the errors and eventually the failure, the stress on the connection, I decided to tape the cable to my desk to eliminate the stress on the connection. I am also puzzled by his constant misinterpretation of the initials of proper nouns and his frequent misinterpretation of "the" and "and".
