Allowed me to place the subwoofer in the far corner of the room for wireless listening. Attempts to connect and use a 2.4GHz transmitter resulted in unacceptable noise. This device produces no unwanted noise and I don't hear any signal lag. The initial pairing of the TX and RX units did not work as described in the instructions. What really worked for me was placing the devices side by side, turning on both devices, and then pressing the "Pair" button on the RX device. So if you find that the provided instructions don't work for you, try my method instead.
