Ok fair warning I'm not the target audience for this shoe. I bought these to wear to work when I just don't feel like wearing anything with a hard sole. As someone who struggled to control the small ankle muscles to maintain good balance and now does martial arts to keep it, I'm one of those people who would go barefoot most of the time if I could because I have much better balance when I can actually bend and roll my legs while moving. But I have a 9-to-5 office job that requires me to dress appropriately, and most regular pairs of shoes I've tried don't give the tactile feedback I'm most comfortable in. They turned out to be a really good compromise. They're also great for those days when my shoes get wet on the road and need to dry. Because there is nothing worse than spending the whole day with cold, wet feet. Pooh!
