Review on Taylor Digital Timer: Ultra Thin and Efficient for Kitchen Cooking by Ana Nguyen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bought for the clock

To be honest I didn't buy this as a timer. I was looking for a small/thin battery powered digital clock with big numbers but couldn't find one I liked. There used to be a lot of choice in the auto department but the only thing I found were some really cheap watches. So when I stumbled across these I bought them, the quality of this unit compared to other watches I've looked at is night and day. The timer/clock is very easy to use. One feature I like is the magnets on the back of the device. But as one of the other reviewers mentioned in their review, the device doesn't hold up well. This is because the back of the timer has a slight curve that prevents the magnets from making flat contact with a metal surface you are sticking it to. But it works well enough for me, I have mine strapped to the side of the computer and it shouldn't fall far when it comes loose. The timer is powered by a small button cell battery. The numbers can also be read from a distance. If I didn't have a kitchen timer I would buy two of these.
