First of all the helmet is great and it's what I expected. It's hard to put on over the ears, but once you put it on it's perfect. A bit big as others say but that's to be expected. I give the helmet 4 out of 5 stars. For those who say the helmet is too tight, most helmets start out that way until they break after a few rides. You don't want the helmet to be loose to begin with as it will just loosen up later. I'm giving this review 3 stars because when I received the helmet the product packaging was badly worn and obviously re-taped to close it. Upon opening the box, the helmet's cloth carry bag was dusty and there was occasional debris in the cloth bag. Upon inspection of the helmet, the foil on the visor was bent and pulled halfway, indicating it had been removed and replaced. The visor itself was not quite in place and crooked. There are small light scuffs and scratches on the back and top of the helmet, as well as fingerprints that are significantly larger than mine. The zipped pocket was also already detached from the helmet strap, the plastic tag was still on the strap but clear evidence it had been cut with scissors or a knife as there was a clean cut down the middle. Overall, though, everything works and snapped back. place and in new condition. The liner was clean and still smells like new, so I'm assuming someone bought this helmet, tried it on, found it didn't fit, and returned it. I just wanted to get a real new helmet or at least one that was returned properly checked and tested. checked, cleaned + repaired and repackaged. Paying literally $35 less than what this helmet sells on other sites and stores, and the fact that it was the last in a lot, I decided to keep it for myself, but be careful when buying , if this is one of the last few . in stock.
