The moment you actually receive the product, you may notice that the description on the box differs from the product description here on Revain. Revain says it filters fluoride as well as other substances like chlorine. However, the box purposely tries to word it in a way that makes you feel gross by listing what it filters, adding "and reducing fluoride" at the very end. It is clear that it does not filter fluoride, which is why I bought it, judging by Revain's description. That's very disappointing. Also, although I've only had this product for a week, it's already having issues with unstable sprayers, which is incredibly disappointing for a $40 showerhead. EDIT: Changed originally 2 star rating to 1 star because the shower head is already rusting (1 week). Big disappointment. It does its job of softening the water and seems to have a small but positive effect on softening the hair. However, this is not enough for me to ever advise anyone to buy.
