This adapter works great with my Asus Zenbook. There are no connection issues and speed tests show full speed of Ethernet to USB-C conversion. The adapter is compact and the USB-C connector is small enough to fit between a micro-HDMI port and a USB-A port on both Pages to fit - no problem. It's going to be hot, but that's okay. There is a green link LED and a green activity LED. The device is plug and play in Windows 10 with no need to install drivers. The build quality matches the cost of the product. There is no reason to overpay for a "famous brand" because it works great.
