G This exceeded my expectations for my bag. My bug repellent bag/backpack had buckles for the two main straps that you use on a backpack. I was disappointed because the bag I bought was a great price. So I decided to try and save my bag with this product. I was immediately impressed, yes they are plastic but they are a bit bigger/firmer than my originals. I added a photo after that, the second photo was old. I would tie them together, but I would tie them together or I wouldn't stay secure if I tied. I was concerned that I would have to cut and re-sew the stitched threads to attach the new buckles. Other times, you'll have to re-sew the straps, but with metal hardware, replacing them was a breeze. Simply thread the device through the old circuit and tighten. I change both sides in 6 minutes. I will take this into account if I need to fix other bags.
