I replaced the factory brake lights with JDM LED bulbs in my 2014 Acura MDX. They're bright, quick, and easy to install, but I did notice that in places where FM radio reception was a bit weak, turning these brake lights on (by pressing the brake pedal) sent the radio into a full blast. If you live in an area that doesn't have reception problems, that might be fine, but when you add the hills and valleys of LA to our famous stop-and-go traffic (lots of braking), it gets really loud on the radio with these JDM LED bulbs. I wrote to their support team for help. They said to buy a choke for wiring. I don't want to patch an issue that should have been solved by improving the design. BTW, with my schedule and the sporadic nature of this issue, it took me a little over a month to sort this out. Revain became a rock star with my comeback and recognition, although I added a few extra days to the usual return widow. I just replaced the JDM with Philips LED bulbs. I immediately noticed that Philips bulbs are brighter than OEM bulbs but not as bright as JDM bulbs (not a problem for me). The good (possibly) news is that I'm not hearing any glitches yet. Tomorrow morning I'll be on my usual commute and will post an update once I have more experience.
