This is my personal opinion, I hope it can help anyone looking for a ferret food alternative that is healthier than the food recommended by marketers at most pet stores. Comparison of this food to what the original owners had of feeding and small canned kitten food experience. That changes life! I am very happy with my current health, energy and coat of my ferrets! Served with a dried whole mini fish treat, which is usually a dog treat. Only their fur has gone from rough, smelly, and irritable to a healthy, fluffy coat that doesn't irritate them. Their smell is gone, people came to me and were surprised, I definitely saw a significant improvement in their energy levels and immune system after less than two weeks on the diet. Even the vet was impressed! I would still gravitate towards freeze dried raw Wysong meat if I could, but due to the great price, Instincts is my go-to ferret food for a high protein source with fewer unnecessary fillers or products that will only increase medical bills in the future. as an affordable brand of food when asked about their diet and of course perfect for cats and I've had no problems after switching.
