I bought this swim top wanting something that was modest enough to wear in public and with the parents of my son's friends. It fits that bill well! Finding something that fits is difficult, so I was wary of ordering online. Luckily, the build of this top seems like it would fit a range of shapes and sizes. If I were any larger I would have needed a Medium. I'm 5'4' and 125 lbs, and while I'm small, "skinny" isn't exactly a word I'd use to describe myself. That being said, the sports-bra like top contains me well, and the flowy outer part covers the areas I'm more conscious of. The parts are connected, and since I am close to having needed a medium, I find getting the top on and off a little bit difficult, as it is kind of tight around the band. The bottom half of the outer part kind of floats against me like a shirt would while I'm in the water. That's not an issue to me but I understand it could be for some people. Despite the description of "push up" I feel like the top is very modest, especially compared to what other tops reveal.
