Depending on what you buy depends on whether you want to buy them. As a digital artist, they come in handy when you need more friction. Also works with Apple Pencil. They won't last very long. If you use them continuously, they will last for several hours. I used 4-6 in a day for detailed articles. If you just want more friction when writing, this might be the case. Personally, I'm not a fan of it when I'm writing. I decided to give it a try because I didn't want the downside that I've seen for screen protectors. Hope that helps.
