and quite durable. Below are the details of the media

In short: This product fits well, is transparent and quite durable. Below I have detailed the media, baking methods, shelf life and the possibility of using an inkjet printer with this product. They work decently for what I need. They didn't warp as much as other shrink wrap I've tried, but they don't thicken as much as Daiso polystyrene shrink wrap. It bakes clear but I always find small spots on the surface which isn't a big problem for me as I coat the surface with a UV resin which masks any surface imperfections. coated with UV resin and the part to hold the jump ring was about 3mm thick. I attached it to a string and banged it against the wall and the keychain broke where it connected to the ring. Again, this isn't a big problem as I'm unlikely to put so much pressure on her. After baking, the plastic becomes stiff, but can still bend slightly under pressure. The larger the piece, the less it thickens compared to the smaller pieces, but the size is barely noticeable. I tested markers. Ink, acrylic paint and micron pens on plastic before baking. The markers will not move after baking and can be removed before baking if wiped off as soon as possible. Ink held up well when dry but tended to smear a bit after baking. Acrylic paint will flake off after baking but can be painted over after baking. Mircons were horribly smeared before baking, but after baking they were messy and alcohol resistant. Using an inkjet printer, I tried printing it first without sanding it, which didn't work unless I used very light colors that were barely visible after baking. I then used a nail polish block to create an X shape as I sanded it. The ink held up a little better but still didn't hold up properly and bled all over the paper, it didn't show up well after baking either. then i tried 400 grit sandpaper and the ink held up better, still smeared but didn't bleed as much. However, it wasn't very noticeable, and when I tried to use ink that was too dark, it spread and only smeared from contact with air. The Fast Draft setting is best for printing, because typically, and at best, too much ink is applied for the film to process and build onto the plastic. Grinding makes the film cloudy, so after baking I tried glazing my amulets and they became transparent again. The good news is that if ink smudges or builds up, it's removed instantly with a little rubbing alcohol and you don't waste a whole sheet of shrink wrap. I know that Grafix also makes inkjet shrink film, but I wanted to try regular film. resorted to painting with UV resins, clear nail polish mixed with regular nail polish, and medium glaze acrylics. That way I could have a spread of sorts and see through the charm, but it's still a bit awkward. With previous experience, I haven't had any problems with curling or warping during baking. I use a flat baking sheet, then place a sheet of unfolded foil on top and line my charm with parchment paper. It is very important to place parchment paper on the top and bottom of the plastic to prevent curling. I baked mine at 300F (2-3 minutes for small charms 2 inches or smaller and 5 minutes for large charms). after baking, i immediately took the pan out of the oven and stacked about 10 heavy books on the hanger without removing the foil or the baking paper. It's also important to make sure that the very first book you put on the keychain is completely free of dents, dents, or anything else that could possibly leave a mark on the keychain.
