Works as advertised

I got this tool to scan the BMW DME (engine control unit or digital engine electronics in Bosch lingo) and reset warning indicators: SES (like lambda sensor error) and service interval messages (eg. oil change indicator). This tool does just that. Note that this is ALL it does. It does not show "live" data, such as B. Settings for fuel trimming. It should be clear from the description, but do not buy this tool if you want to "tune" your BMW's engine management system. The PEAKE tool is very small and easy to use. MAKE SURE you remove it from the slot under the hood when no longer in use. BEFORE closing the hood! And DO NOT lose the code list that comes with the tool. The tool does NOT display BMW format codes. The list is needed to translate the provided codes.
