PushBerry somewhat answers the question nobody has asked - how to easily remove the pit from strawberries. I have eaten this fruit all my life. I never thought of removing the core from them, instead digging up the green leaves from above and then using a knife to cut the fruit to my liking. PushBerry is a spoke wheel with a pointed center circle. To use, insert the tip of the berry into the inner ring and then slide the fruit through the device. This does an excellent job of removing the core of the fruit, but hits or misses the green top a little. About half of the berries I removed had all or some of the greenery left. All the berries were good and completely pitted. Very ripe strawberries were easily crushed in the process, but none of them became really unattractive or unusable. Because of the wheel's spokes, you can't remove the core of the fruit without dividing it into four pieces. I don't understand what a pitted strawberry gives, but I'm also disappointed that the leaves that are left have to be hand picked. However, if pitted berries are the desired goal, I can't think of a better tool to achieve that goal. I just wish the sheet removal was more reliable.
