The description says it is 12 inches. It is 11.

We were replacing a 12 inch square light fixture and did not want to have to pain the ceiling. I was very disappointed to see the imprint of the old fixture on the ceiling after installing this new light fixture.Also, the copper ground wire came loose. We had to attach it to one of the screws within the fixture.I suggest you use different wire nuts than those provided.

Perfect light fixture for my room!! Easy to install and love the look!!!

Cons

Light bulbs may be difficult to replace due to design
