I use this as a monitor mount and to hide my laptop under a stand when I'm working at my desk. Although it's a is really neat stand it is not functional or practical and difficult to use for that reason i give this product 2 stars i will mount 13 macbook pro 2018 with ease but no adapters once you connect something to the laptop (ex. a monitor cable or USB) you will need to stand the laptop on something that gives it a 1/2" height as the adapters sit on the edge of the stand and will damage laptop ports over time. I stick with that stuck because I can't get it back, so I resorted to stands and tiles to elevate my laptop.Because the fit is pretty snug, it's also difficult to adjust anything when you're displaying or connecting have anxiety problems. I'm 5ft tall with small hands (glove size xs) and I have a hard time getting under the stand to set up my laptop when I need to. If you are over 5 feet tall or have large hands, this stand will most likely be awkward to use. However, if you're looking for something small to put your laptop ON IT and you have a small workspace, then this is the perfect little space saver and a nice little nook to put papers and folders.
