This is my second child and this time we decided to buy a Baby Touch Monitor. It may be expensive - but it's worth it! Unlike most things you will buy for your child, this is an item that you will use for years and it is worth buying something good. Not only can you add additional cameras like these so you can monitor multiple kids in different rooms, but they even have a rechargeable battery so you can move the monitor to other rooms temporarily. The camera can scan almost the entire room. He works in the dark and in the light. All this to say that the walkie-talkie feature is by far the best feature. Not only can my 3 year old daughter talk to me, but I can talk to her without even entering the room. You can tell your child to lie on their back or sing a song without going inside or getting caught (if they see you, they won't let you go). The monitor also looks like an iPhone and is a touchscreen. In fact, I had a mom who told me she was monitor envious. I can't express how much I love this!
