I bought two packs of these black leggings for my sister who is about 160lbs 5ft 4in. the weight in her stomach and her legs are thin. I wasn't sure if I should take a regular size or a plus size, but I ended up getting a plus size. If it didn't fit, I could return it. My sister tried them on last night and was delighted with them. She said they fit her, although they were a bit long and very high waisted. She likes that they are big but maybe they need to be tucked in a bit. I think the extra length will shrink after the first wash. She doesn't mind, especially in winter when she's wearing boots over leggings. feel tight and not too loose. They are opaque and do not shine through. They are also very soft. el like they are a bit thin. I haven't tried them on but I checked and they seem thinner and don't have as much spandex as I personally prefer but my sister loves them and that's the main thing. I don't think she would be as happy with a normal size because the waist would probably be too tight at the waist. Overall a good, buttery soft legging with good stretch. You need a little longer.
