There is an indoor and outdoor version of this product and I was scammed. The outer version is waterproof while the inner version is only waterproof. The problem is that both versions look the same. You'll need to read the fine print on the packaging to tell them apart. So I bought 7 pieces of this fake version and used them in an outdoor project. The glue didn't hold and turned to mud in a day. I spent most of the day installing the wrong version of this product. Then cleaning the wrong product was messy and such a waste of time. Of course I bought the outdoor version and it worked great. The manufacturer needs to make the packaging of the two versions different and very obvious so other DIYers don't fall for it like I did. I liked the product in the waterproof version for many years but didn't like being scammed. Read the description carefully until the packaging is fixed. Use the waterproof version outdoors and the waterproof version indoors.
