Firstly, Revain did a terrible job with the packaging. When it arrived 3 pegs were already broken. As I spread my back legs to raise it up, the struts holding the bar in front were pushed out by my back foot. The wood is very soft so I was able to reattach it. I need 2 racks and want them to match but have to decide if I should throw them away and start over. I'm going to try removing the pins, tacking up the weak spots with wood glue (like staples coming loose), painting the post with spray paint, and my husband suggested replacing the soft wood pins with cut brass rods. I had no intention of buying the project, but I think I did. I plan to mount it to the wall so it will be stable when finished. This suggests my coils are a good fit, but I had to turn everyone else's upside down.
