Review on 📀 Sony DVP-FX750 7-Inch Portable DVD Player, Black (2010 Model): Compact Entertainment On-the-Go! by Paul Abs

We bought this DVD player less than a year ago and so far we love it. It has turned long car rides with a toddler from a harrowing experience into a joyful one. In fact, she got excited about road trips because she could watch movies all the time. But today we got in the car, turned on the DVD player as usual, and no matter what DVD we put in, it wouldn't play smoothly. It kept freezing and bouncing and couldn't seem to play DVDs smoothly. Some DVDs fail to load at all, although the same DVDs loaded without any problem in the past. Now we're boarding a plane with a very active toddler with no portable DVD player! I called Sony and they said the warranty covers parts but not labor and labor will be $137! That's double what I originally paid for the player. And they wouldn't just send me a new player. Sony seems to have very little faith in this product when the warranty is so weak. We've only used this DVD player a couple of times and have taken great care with it by keeping it in a soft case so I'm pretty sure the problem is with the product. We will be looking for a new player, but definitely not this one.
