Favorite hair color! I've been using this for many years. 8.1 prevents my hair from becoming coppery. I use the developer of the same brand, 20 Volume. My hairdresser introduced me to this brand when I moved and after 7 years I'm still a fan. I don't wash it out every time or it dries out my hair. I sometimes pull out a few strands here and there to add depth to my hair if the monotony is making you look old! I use Me Bleach 30 Volume Blonde with Violet Powder for highlights. Turns white quickly. I just pull it through a few strands sometimes and wrap it in foil. My hair is longer than it has been in 40 years! I get compliments on caramel color. Sensitive product. No breakdown! I leave it for about 40 minutes. I start on one side in front and then do the other side. Then I do the wrong side from side to side. I do my hair every 3 weeks. I switch sides every 3 weeks so I start on the left side the last time I started on the right side. All I need is a mirror from the first aid kit for my back. I add more toner halfway through as it's starting to dry out a bit. I only need 3/4 bath each time I root. I touch my scalp with the brush when applying because I have gray hair. It doesn't irritate the scalp and doesn't look weird. I rinse it on my knees in the tub. The dark shadows in my hair come in chunks/strands from combing this color (8.1/my base color) as you can see in the YouTube video. Rschunimagu
