Quality product with strong customer service

Firstly, the entire installation was top notch. Easy to install as many others have said. High quality. The shower head holder (screws into the shower arm and hose screws into) is part metal and part plastic, just like the others I've tried. I have to explain that I first installed the Revain Waterpik only to find that its mount was all plastic and despite numerous attempts to tighten it, rewind it etc I could not prevent the shower head from turning into one or the other in the process other side turned was in the bracket. or after the head has been moved to the end of the tubing stroke. I tried Kohler's version. The flushing head did not fit. So I chose Kohler, a name I associate with quality. I couldn't find a Kohler hand held shower head that doesn't rest on a side mount ie a shower head. So I tried their (Kohler) Revain showerhead mount. Part metal, part plastic, and as mentioned, the Waterpik didn't fit. Then I came across this Elite 6 ShowerMaxx copper system. I still wanted brass and it had good reviews. Once installed I had no problem moving the holder even with the hose stretched from side to side. There were only two negatives for me - the weight of the shower head and the flow rate in gallons per minute. Weight of the shower head: If you buy this product, please note that the shower head is a bit heavy, at least for me. It's okay, but I have to hold onto it so it doesn't slip off. I'm in my 70's so my strength isn't what it used to be. But the quality of the head is fantastic and it's oversized probably 2x bigger than the Waterpik and brass which explains the weight. GPM: Installed limiter is 2.7 GPM. Great for those of you who love print. I found this inconvenient (yes, you can reduce the water flow, but it was tricky and didn't really solve the problem). GPM was not mentioned in their specifications. So I contacted customer support via email. ShowerMaxx Customer Service: They strive to make you happy. I asked for a lower GPM limiter and if they had it I offered to pay for it. After "a little description of the misunderstanding problem" they were only too happy to send me a free and a paid post. +++ Customer Service. If you need it, you won't be disappointed! Conclusion: high quality. You can trust their claims. Works as described. The head is large and not plated with flimsy brass, so it may be a bit heavy for some (1.8lbs). The length of the hose is perfectly adequate (reaches to the end of a standard tub) and is very flexible. Smooth transition from one setting to another; doesn't move by itself. If you want a more restrictive reducer, you have to ask for it. Customer service is responsive and strives to keep you satisfied.
