Busted Rubber

I received this case as a gift for my child's new 3DS for Christmas. I really like the case but from the moment I first opened the box I realized that the rubber backing is not good. It was very thin and stretched/deformed in the center where it attached to the bottom rail. At the end of the first day of use, the rubber was loose enough from the center that half of the rubber was loosening from the center outwards from the bottom bar. I'm sure it will be completely demolished within a few days. Maybe I have a defect but I thought I should share. It's a shame that such a good product has such a big flaw.
