Does what the seller says, matches the OEM filter form factor and filters water for half the price. I just tried the filtered water and it offers about the same level of filtration as an OEM filter. An important note: The OEM filter is first cleaned by running tap water through it for about 30 seconds. Tried this and it wasn't deleted. However, to be fair to the manufacturer, the packaging clearly states that it is to be installed into the filter housing first and then run the water from the upper reservoir through once. You will see black from the filtered charcoal. After you've done this once, simply pour out the black water, rinse the pitcher, and you're done.
