Review on Certified Replacement Purifying Cartridges for Chemical Removal by Cody Hunt

This is a terrible product. I decided to give it a try since Mavea filters are getting more and more expensive. I compared Wamery to the official Mavea filter. Two jugs stood side by side. First, Wamery didn't appear to be effectively wetting his filter media. No air bubbles came out after soaking in water for 15 minutes. This became an obvious issue when comparing filter speed to Mavea. Mavea's filtering speed was several orders of magnitude faster. I suspect that the trapped air in Vamery was impeding its flow rate. Based on some positive reviews, I suspect that possible issues with Wamery are due to improper quality assurance. Also, one of the filters in my three pack was opened and rewrapped in stretch wrap. Wamery is made in China and Mavea is made in Switzerland. Do I have to say more?
