I already have 2 ratchet straps (different brand) so I like the concept. This one is just as reliable, and I appreciate its adjustability. The skin is pleasantly supple. If you're slightly overweight like me (waist 42 inches) make sure you order a strap that's long enough as the ratchets start a few inches from the end. That was barely enough, so nothing had to be cut.
