I originally bought these for my baby when he is learning to eat on his own but my 3 and 6 year olds have already discovered and loved them so may need to buy more in the future! The kids thought it was so fun being LEGOs and keeping them busy while they waited for their lunch. The colors are beautiful and the weight and size of the pens were perfect for them without being too bulky. They felt so grown up that they had a knife to cut their food. I found it good that when unpacking it didn't smell of chemicals (they don't contain any toxins!) Washing is a must. I wish there were more colors! Will buy again when my baby is a bit older (they recommend 24 months for her and I agree!).
