Micro SD card as advertised and identical to the 2015 original. Installation couldn't be simpler. With the engine and device off, access the microcard case (depending on the vehicle). On my 1015 Prius C it's in the lower right corner of the navigation screen. Remove the card from the slot. (First press and it will release, then pull out) Insert the new card. start the car Switch on the navigation system. It immediately recognized the new software and started downloading it. Everything was done in minutes. Later, the next time I started the car, I downloaded the update, which was also done quickly. I've tested it a few times and it works as expected. The date on the card is April 2019. Not 2020 but suits me for a lot less money. I'll update later if there are problems, but I don't expect them.
