Review on Leather Saddles Stitcher Needles Leathercraft by Lori Aguirre

Eh, it's $12 I think. I am new to using a sewing awl. As mentioned in other reviews, the thread that comes with it is rubbish. It gets tangled (unless of course you finish the stitch line and try to tie a knot), tangled, torn, just plain junk. I tried to keep it at a 4 star rating but the spool of thread was the selling point so the fact that it's awful knocks off a star. I'm sure I'll put in the cost of an awl to get a spool of something that isn't junk. Maybe I just don't know how to use it properly, but the coil system inside the handle gets tangled. I hope it's easy to use with a good thread or it comes back.
