Rainbow floats are good for bath toys

I bought this because I thought my boys (2) and (5) would love it and they do! It was very easy to set up, but we encountered a problem when we first started using it. The cloud and rainbow that sucks in water tends to float, which means it stalls the engine by mostly sucking in air. I have a feeling this is easily remedied by placing a weight on the bottom of the cloud or making room for a suction cup on the back like an elephant. Overall, my boys love this cute little shower, but I need to find a way to weigh down the suction part so it doesn't stop working.
