I bought this powered wagon mainly to haul wood. I burn a lot of wood each year (indoor and outdoor fireplaces) and have access to all the free wood needed - just need to haul it from around my property and in many cases up a steep hillside. Was using a 2 wheel dolly for many years but hauling wood with a dolly up a steep hill got hard as I got older. So, a little power in the wagon looked like it could be just what I needed.Reading all the reviews gave me some concern but I took a risk. Many older reviews talked about part damage during delivery and packing being inadequate. Also, some reviews about parts missing or instructions not being clear. The box with my powered wagon arrive with just a few dents and scratches - it is a heavy box and would be hard for a delivery service to unload. The company must have read the reviews as the packing I saw was over the top. Lots of Styrofoam packing and every part was really well protected. No damage to any of the parts and everything was present to assemble. I saved the Styrofoam and lined the inside of the wagon to protect the sides.Assembly is straightforward but the instructions are hard to read and some steps are very light on detail. At the very end of the instructions on how to assemble the sides of the wagon, the instructions simply stop before the assembly is complete. It took me about 2 hours to assemble the wagon -I was moving slowly in 95 degree heat.Charged the battery and then used the wagon first on level and slight (6 degree) slope. Hauled chopped wood about 50 yards (200 lbs) to my wood pile. The wagon had no problem on the slope - even in slightly wet grass after a light rain. Easy to use and no effort on my part.Next I took the wagon down a steep slope to where some cut logs were, loaded one log (100 lbs) and then let the wagon haul the log up hill - about 70 yards. It's a curved trail with about a 20% slop and the wagon had no problem. On loose gravel and wet ground, the wheels began to dig in and create a rut. I slowed down the speed and the wagon had no problem after that. One new feature I see is a variable speed drive. You can vary the speed to as slow as needed or when on flat ground to as fast as you want with a thumb controller. Nice improvement and maybe came from the customer feedback.First day of use, I like the wagon. Next is to put it to some heavy duty use hauling several dozen logs up a steep hill. will update later.
