It is very easy to use. The splitter is sharp enough to cut an avocado in half, but not sharp enough to accidentally sever the skin. And that's good. The same goes for the part that removes the seed. Its teeth are sharp enough to work perfectly, but will not cut through skin. Strong hold. If you have a small avocado, just turn it on its side and you're good to go.
