LOVE LOVE THIS - so many uses due to the Caribbean clips on both ends. Makes awesome dog leashes for arthritis in hands. I can clip into a pant loop or use a separate elastic bungee as a "belt" that attaches around my waist. Just don't chain them together. Then, hook yourself to the bottom step while you work in the garden. Because you might find that your little kid has snuck up the steps and like me you turn around and see your dog literally jumping off the top step; swaying and bouncing while having the time of my life! while being humiliated on the other hand. If she was wearing a regular harness, she would have slipped out. Thank goodness I bought her a new harness with a standard velcro strap that didn't reach her armpits at all! It was one of the highlights of her very long life! These bungees were pretty reliable. Every once in a while I look down and realize they've kind of broken up. I don't know how, but it often happens.
