Don't worry - bad design
I have no idea what the person who designed this thing was thinking. It's the right color and the peel and stick works great and it fits the outline of a standard old style phone. My complaint, and it's a big one, is why put a sculpted crest on the back of a part that was supposed to rest on my shoulder? I have no grove there and no one else. The rib pushes the phone away from your ear at an odd angle. I figured the idea would be to hold the phone to your ear with your free hands. Bad design. Look for another without a centerline. I would have sent it back but I've already peeled and pasted it.
