Edited Review: Welds broke after 8 months (but great customer service!)

I only gave this chair 2 stars originally because after 8 months of use the welds on the base of the chair broke rendering the chair unusable. I am reviewing this chair after checking the warranty (Amazon has a link to the PDF on the product page) and contacting support. The woman who helped me on the phone was extremely polite and helpful and said the broken welds were a manufacturing defect and would be fixed. She instructed me to email the manufacturer's customer service describing the problem and attaching photos of the defective part and a photo of the order confirmation. The very next day I received an email from them saying they are in warranty and the part is on order and will be shipped to me within 24-48 hours. I was very impressed with the speed with which they responded to my email and fulfilled the guarantee. Thanks Flash Furniture :-) Let's now come to the product test. This chair is wonderful! I have read many reviews about this chair and I think it all comes down to personal comfort. I'm not a little guy, I'm 6 feet tall and weigh about 210 pounds. I'm a gamer and I spend hours and sometimes days just sitting in this chair playing games and my butt doesn't hurt because it's not padded. The range that this chair can recline is great, and when fully reclined it reclines quite a bit. It's great for putting your feet up and watching an Amazon Prime Video show after a long day at work. I would recommend this chair to anyone looking for a lightweight chair. Despite this, it is very light and easy to move around the house. The chair does not come fully assembled, which wasn't a problem for me. The instructions are very easy to follow and include the tools you need to assemble. The only thing I would suggest when assembling this part is an adjustable wrench to hold the nut while you tighten the bolts so you can actually turn them. The assembly time is about 20 minutes, after which you immediately rest.
