Review on Timex TW2R63200 Weekender Double Layered Slip Thru by Blanca Spahn

Very important! Super Indiglo

The latest Weekender Chrono has a nice surprise that previous Weekender Chrono versions didn't have. There is a night mode! A welcome addition typically found on more expensive Timex or Ironmans models. The weekender offers great versatility. Looks great on both a nato leather watch and a standard strap. Many say Timex leather straps look cheap; but make no mistake; The leather is of the highest quality and offers a scratch-resistant finish. It tolerates small scratches well and water does not leave a watermark like other leather straps. The 30-minute chronograph is very useful; I wish Timex had a 24-hour watch face instead of 1/20th of a second in the future, although that's nice to have; I find the 24 hour dial the most convenient. I have no hesitation in saying that in terms of value and quality, there is no other chronograph in the sub-$100 range that is beautiful, versatile, and has a night function or powerful light. Some Casio Edifices come close, but tend to be significantly more expensive and not as versatile as the strap options. The only downside I see on the watch is the very small date window, which I find difficult to read in most situations and is non-existent. when using Indiglo. A few millimeters and big numbers would have made it much more readable.
